After a long day of exploring everything that Scouting has to offer, your evening meal might be the only time your patrol has gathered for the day. Regardless of the days' activities, a meal is always a great time for your patrol to sit down and talk and build friendship. Scouts can discuss their favorite activities from the day, and compare who has earned the most merit badges, for example. Mealtime is also a great opportunity for everyone to relax and just talk without feeling the need to rush to your next adventure.
